VERY unhappy, Dr. Pitts convinced me pulling a baby tooth on my daughter was the best thing to do and really blew off my concerns. Now today we are going to an oral surgeon after waiting 2 years for the tooth to come it. Apparently the space got to small and the tooth can not come it because her baby tooth was pulled too soon. Now she will have to have at least one, maybe more surgeries on her mouth and braces plus the embarrassment of having to have one of her front teeth missing for 2 years because Dr. Pitts is only to eager to pull baby teeth. Should have listened to my gut and that is my fault. However I repeatedly voiced my concerned and was treated like I was making a big deal of something very simple. I trusted a little too much. I wish this man knew what it was like to see the pain on a child's face as she is being teased and called the nickname "gap" because of his careless act and refusal to listen to a mother's concerns. I urge you please either get a second opinion or seek another dentist before allowing this to happen to your child. This man is only concerned about $$$ not his patients. The one star I am forced to give is simply too good, he deserves none. Not to mention the aggravation of his staff not wanting to get my children's dental records sent in a timely manner to their new dentist when we moved out of state, the staff at our current office had to call and put her foot down to finally get the records sent. Would not use this practice again if my life depended on it.
