I visited the Belk store in Lagrange to purchase some makeup. I waited for fifteen minutes at the makeup counter after looking for an associate to help me at all four counters there was no one to help me so I started helping myself with a free sample of my makeup until I could come in the next day to purchase a bottle because they were about to close. So a woman approached the makeup counter beside me and I asked her if she worked there and could help me and explained I wanted to purchase some makeup but didn't see anyone so I was going to get a sample. Well she started screaming at me telling me I better be glad a loss prevention associate didn't see me because I was stealing and they would take me in. She scared my ten year old so bad she was shaking and crying. She was so rude and unprofessional arguing with me, throwing things, slamming things. I have never been so embarrassed or treated so terrible in my life. I spoke with the store manager and he apologized for my experience but the worker's name was Lou Anderson and if you could I wish you could pull the security camera to see how she talked to me and treated me. It was uncalled for and very unprofessional. I will not be back in that store after the way she made me feel and scared my daughter to death.
